Staybridge Suites Auburn University Area by IHG

I had to stay a week here and it was great! The cleaners aren’t super great but the front desk people are so super awesome! The laundry facility was very helpful in my situation!

The shower was amazing. The cleanliness was impressive. Room was huge. Will stay again next time I'm down this way.

Maybe it's policy now, but housekeeping never came into out room to do any cleaning or re-stocking. They did knock on the door and ask if we needed anything but no cleaning was done. Like I say, maybe this is policy now. In the Guest laundry, one washer was out of order, which I reported. And in the Fitness Room, the stationary bicycle was out of order and the large TV screen did not seem functional. Also, the breakfast was supposed to be available until 9:30 am, but coffee was not kept fill with hot coffee and food was not replenished adequately. So, an OK experience but not exceptional as in the past.

The pillows were incredibly stiff and hard.

Clean rooms friendly staff

We had the two bedroom suite and it was perfect. Everything throughout the hotel was clean and well-kept, the pool area was great, staff very friendly and helpful, beds comfy. We would definitely stay here again when in the Auburn area.

Shower head was leaking in room 105. Other than that, pretty good stay. Broken shower head made it hard to shower but was able to overcome.

Location and size There was a tablet on the sofa and when we got in to bed late at night there was a box of half eaten nerd sweets under the covers that was not from us which makes me wonder whether the beds were actually changed. And how much the room was cleaned of there was a tablet on the sofa. Breakfast was ok.

Breakfast food is good & i had happy stay

Great Service and great stay!

Bad

Great stay. I was in town for business for two days. The room was clean and comfy, and overall it was a great stay. Breakfast was plentiful and a plus on a busy morning. Thank you for a great visit. I'll see you next time.

Exceptional

The clean, quite facility was great. The staff were excellent and very friendly. The price increase due to a social event during my stay-which I wasn’t there to attend. The ridiculous price increases due to weekend events price most out of town. When a hotel room costs an average mortgage payment for a weekend stay, average people are forced to stay at home and forgo the trip.

Only real complaint was that breakfast was non-existent by 7:50 when it opened at 7:30!! They were not prepared for feeding multiple soccer teams and their families. We ended up having to grab breakfast elsewhere when we had been advised to book here because of the fabulous breakfast. They knew they booked the teams, so they should have been prepared. Overall, would stay here again, but be prepared that breakfast may not be provided.

Great!
