Spark by Hilton Amarillo Medical Center

It was convenient and clean and had a nice breakfast selection the next morning When we arrived, the front desk clerk was outside in her car smoking ,her sweatshirt was dirty. She had on shorts and sneakers. Look like she had just woken up. That was probably the least professional I’ve ever seen anyone at a front desk look.

The only reason I picked this property, was their indoor pool. The property did not disclose their pool was closed.

Hotels with bugs get the worst ratings possible!

Clean and comfortable, but is an older property.

Clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming.

The staff was friendly Loose railings in the bathtub.

The room was spotless but heavy smell of bleach in the room and the area by the elevators on the second floor smelled like horse manure. All day coffee and hot water in the lobby were ice cold. It would have been helpful to have a coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was very good. Driveway and parking lot desperately needs to be resurfaced.

Good

Needs some sprucing up. The grout and caulk in the bathroom was shoddy. Lot of little fixes needed : landscaping, tub outdated, caulk and grout missing Great value though.

Loved the girl who checked me in. She was amazing! The room was clean, breakfast was decent. Hotel location was perfect. Needs some sprucing up. The grout and caulk in the bathroom was shoddy. Lot of little fixes needed : landscaping, tub outdated, caulk and grout missing Great value though.

The shower was dirty, the carpet was dusty on the edges, in the middle of the night I woke up to some insects crawling on my head turned the light and there were three flying bugs in the room after killing them I inspected the room for bugs and under the a/c unit there were two dead water bugs. The customer service was great but the cleanliness made our stay uncomfortable good thing we were there for one night

The attendant when we checked out, Cassandra was extremely friendly went above and beyond to help us check in. The breakfast was decent. The tub was dirty, and the faucet was old. The floor was very sticky needed some mopping. The housekeeping employees were taking up space while I was getting my coffee.

Good breakfast

Pleasant

Very good

Staff did not want to be there- Ive never heard someone huff and puff so many times just for a check in on a pre reserved and paid for stay. I waited at the counter for a couple minutes while the lady finished her video on the phone. She asked me after she was done watching it- if she could help me. I handed my ID and card for deposit said I already had reservations for the night. any other hotel I go to. This takes 2-3 min max. This was a 10 min exchange for all attitude and that I disrupted her from what she was doing just so I could get my keys. Hotel room was set up fine. there were multiple bugs in the bathroom, a family of beetles and a few spiders and webs. The rooms are not at all soundproof. you can hear everything around you. It is my fault for finding a hotel last minute-
