La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Abilene Mall

The stay was great, especially compared to other hotels in the area, looking at you Rhodeway Inn. It was pretty clean and well maintained, but I did see a few roaches in the breakfast area, specifically I saw one on one of the serving spoons, and one on a curtain behind one of the tables closest to the serving area.

The staff was wonderful and they are pet friendly. Unfortunately,$250 for this status of hotel is grossly overpriced.

Good area A little pricey for a building that’s a little run down floors were sticky on hallway and elevator

Very dirty. Hallway floors were sticky. The room was not clean. Lobby was not attended at check in, had to call the property to get someone to come help. Breakfast was out of food prior to the 9 am cut-off. Only decent thing was bed was comfy.

This property has not been maintained. Too Many issues to list.

We couldn’t find an ice machine that wasn’t broken. The tv with Direct TV had a lot of channels, but only a few worked. There was a loud party at the pool past 10:00 and our room was close by.

The rooms in the maintenance need to go over everything, clean the baseboards in the rooms in the hallway in the trash cans and the elevator it needs a major OCD bleach claim

The location Everything from the time we walked into the room it smelled the furniture was all nasty the whole room needed to be thrown out no smoke alarm. Bathtub had paint that was lifting. Not clean at all caulking waS peeling. NOT A PLACE I WOULD LET MY KIDS STAY AT THIS PLACE.

Not much! The staff was nice and did apologize for my experience. They were not able to offer any compensation because my reservation was booked third party Property is old and smells old. The tv only display 3 channels the others were on audio, the microwave, room phone and several wall plugs did not work. Pictures missing from the wall…just not good!

the swimming pool look green and really nasty looking. looked like it wasn't cleaned in a long while. I called down stairs and asked if I could get someone to help with the tv because it wasn't working properly and the lady said they were going to try to find someone to help but nobody came to help. I would not stay here again and advise people not to stay here.

Charged more than Expedia billed me. Tv didn’t have but a few working stations. Place was dirty. Food was really bad. Ran out of utensils to eat the bad food with. One of the worst properties I’ve stayed at in a very long while.

Left property, found another hotel

Was checked in to a room that was already occupied! Had to go back down to get another room. New room has a door that won’t close or open unless pushed hard. Room was clean enough until we saw a cockroach floating in the toilet bowl on day 3 of our stay! Housekeeping still comes in even with do not disturb sign at the door. Breakfast was ok, the same food the whole stay. Don’t even bother with the gym…equipment barely works. Pool is open but disgusting. One of the side doors to the hotel doesn’t even close..anybody can come in from the parking lot. Come to find out upon day of checkout that they were trying to charge me again for the new room! Front desk staff were helpful in getting that fixed! Spend your money elsewhere!

Cockroach in the tub, items under the sink that should have been swept t up.

The swimming pool had green water, after i was told 4 days prior the pool was going to be usable.the floors in the room was dirty like it wasnt mopped in a long time.

Location The staff was rarely at the counter, had to wait alil bit till the man came back from cigarette break... bc he said he didn't know anybody was there... no bc he was out smoking! Also our floor smelled BAD, somebody was cooking(I guess) but it was horrible!

Staff (front desk) was more interested in her phone, than the needs of the customer, no amenities after 8pm-5am
